Janet Hopps Adkisson
Inducted: 1998
Once recognized as one of the
world's top woman tennis players. In a career of over 25 years, she was
ranked in the top 10 Woman's singles in the U.S. for five straight years in
the late 1950's. Internationally, she was ranked in the top 15 singles in
the world three times. Winner of the numerous state, national and world
titles. Captain of the U.S. Wightman Cup International team and a
semi-finalist in two events at Wimbledon in 1960. |

Tom Gorman
Inducted: 1997
Recognized as one of the
country's premier tennis players, he also excelled as the coach of the U.S.
Davis Cup team for eight years. A graduate of Seattle Prep and Seattle
University, he won three State titles. His career record includes being a
semi-finalist at the U.S. Open, Wimbledon and the French Open. For several
years he was ranked among the World's Top 10 tennis players. |

Patricia "Trish" Bostrom
Inducted: 2006
A trailblazer for women's tennis at the
University of Washington, she became the first woman to reach the
quarterfinals in the 1971-72 National Collegiate Tennis Championships. An
excellent doubles player, she claimed three national titles during her
collegiate career. She played professionally for eight years and was ranked
#5 in the world in women's doubles and #35 in singles. Her record includes
being a U.S. Open doubles quarterfinalist, French Open doubles
semi-finalist, Australian Open doubles finalist, and Wimbledon doubles final
sixteen. Now a successful attorney in Seattle, she received her Juris
Doctorate from SMU in 1983. |
